What was the highlight of Cabana Republic
A BIG disappointment
Breakfast and free shuttle and the security guard was lovely.
Room was dirty with dead bugs in the bathroom, all corners in the room had bugs in the ceiling. Our pillow cases were stained, the shower and bathroom needed cleaning we found hair, lime scale and mould all over. On the last night the locals had a karaoke party by the pool area (no they were not guests at the hotel), however they were using the whole pool area so we could not and the singing noise was absolutely terrible! We were not informed they would be having a party there... They had kettle in the room but no coffee or tea only sugar and creamer... the bar/restaurant did not sell the drinks on display so despite having whisky and wine on the shelves we were told we could not buy any because the staff are not bartenders??? We were the only guests on the whole place for the first 2 nights and in our second morning we were told they did not have any bacon for our breakfast??? This place is a joke! They are overpriced and absolutely terrible! WiFi only worked at Reception. We found a cockroach walking up the wall in the bathroom. There was never a room service during our 3 night stay. We always had to ask for toilet paper, our room bins were full of ants. For the price charge we should have stayed in a much better place... truly upsetting...
